Absolutely stunning hosueplant, only one in stock. About 3 ft tall currently - can grow up to 10ft tall.

Light: Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning or filtered sunlight throughout the day. However, avoid intense, direct afternoon sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. Place your plant near a north or east-facing window indoors, or provide filtered light if placed near a south or west-facing window.

Temperature: This plant prefers average to warm temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). It can tolerate temperatures down to 55°F (13°C) briefly but should be protected from drafts and cold air.

Watering: Water Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' moderately, allowing the top inch (2.5 cm) of soil to dry out between waterings. In spring and summer, water more frequently, approximately once a week. Reduce watering in fall and winter, allowing the soil to dry out more between waterings. Ensure that the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot.

Humidity: Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' prefers moderate to high humidity levels. Mist the leaves regularly or use a humidity tray filled with water and pebbles to increase humidity around the plant, especially in dry indoor environments.

Soil: Plant Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' in a well-draining potting mix that retains some moisture but allows excess water to drain freely. A mix formulated for houseplants or tropical plants works well.

Fertilizing: Feed Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half-strength. Reduce fertilizing in fall and winter when the plant's growth slows down.

Pruning: Trim any yellow, brown, or damaged leaves as needed to maintain the plant's appearance and health. You can also prune to shape the plant and encourage bushier growth.

Potting: Repot Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' every 1-2 years in spring if it has outgrown its pot. Choose a slightly larger pot with drainage holes to accommodate the plant's roots. Use gloves when handling the plant as its sap can be irritating to the skin.

Pest Control: Keep an eye out for common houseplant pests such as spider mites, mealybugs, and scale insects. If pests are detected, treat them promptly with insecticidal soap or neem oil, following the manufacturer's instructions.

Cleaning: Dust the leaves of Ficus lyrata 'Tineke' regularly with a soft, damp cloth to keep them clean and allow optimal light absorption.
